Theophilus Afelokhai (Enyimba) : Afelokhai made several saves and was named Man of the Match in Enyimba's impressive 1-0 road win against Djoliba of Mali in a CAF Confederation Cup encounter.
Leon Balogun (Brighton): Balogun stood tall in his debut game for Brighton as they beat Manchester United 3-2 in a Premier League encounter at the American Express Stadium.
William Troost-Ekong (Udinese): The Super Eagles defender made his bow for Udinese in a 2-2 draw versus Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardin.
Ola Aina (Torino): Aina was impressive in his first game for the Maroons as they fell to a narrow 1-0 loss to AS Roma in their Serie A match-up at the Stadio Olimpico.
Fikayo Tomori (Derby County) The Chelsea loanee helped Derby to progress to the second round of the Carabao Cup following a 2-0 victory over Oldham Athletic at the Boundary Park.

Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City): Ndidi put in a full shift in the centre of the park for the Foxes in their 2-0 Premier League victory over Wolverhampton at the KP Stadium.

Ayo Okosun (Midtylland): Okosun scored twice as The Wolves saw off The New Saints 3-1 at the MCH Arena in a UEFA Europa League qualifier.
