Liverpool Striker Solanke Returns To Practice After Suffering Concussion
Published: September 21, 2018Speaking at a press conference on Friday afternoon, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has hinted that English-born striker of Nigerian parentage Dominic Solanke will not make his first appearance of the new season when the Reds face Southampton at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The England U21 star trained for the first time with his teammates today after suffering from concussion and the game against the Saints has come too soon for him.
Providing an injury update, Klopp told the national press in England : ''Solanke trains today for first time after concussion.
''Divock still feels his injury, maybe Sunday first session with the team.
''Adam Lallana gets closer and closer. Still doing rehab. Not too far away.''

Last weekend, Solanke was on target for Liverpool U23s in their 3-0 rout of Swansea City in the Premier League 2, his only appearance for the Reds teams this term.
