Super Eagles Star Alhassan Ibrahim Named In Liga NOS Team Of The Week After Battle Scar
Published: September 25, 2018Nigeria international Alhassan Ibrahim has been named in the Team of the Week for the latest round of matches played in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
Football Statistics website Whoscored has picked the eleven most outstanding players in each position, with the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star making the cut.
Alhassan shone for CD Nacional in their goalless draw with CD Feirense at the Estádio Marcolino de Castro on Sunday, September 23, and received the official Man of the Match award following his impressive performance.
The Super Eagle was named in central midfield along with Benfica's Luis Miguel Afonso Fernandes in a 4-4-2 formation and scored 7.6 in the rating, the second lowest ranked player.
Alhassan made a game-high five tackles and a team-high five interceptions, and was the top passer for Nacional with 42.
Despite picking up a facial injury, the 21-year-old completed the game against CD Feirense .
