'He Was Flicking The Ball Over People’s Heads' - Ex-Crystal Palace Star Reveals Victor Moses Stood Out
Published: November 11, 2018Former Crystal Palace winger Kieron Cadogan has revealed that Victor Moses was destined for greatness as he showed signs that he was a precocious talent during his formative years with The Eagles.
The former Nigeria international was only sixteen years when he made his first team debut for Crystal Palace in a 1-1 draw with Cardiff City in the Championship on November 6, 2007.
Cadogan noted that Moses stood out among the rest because of his amazing skills and he had a high degree of confidence.
''Victor [Moses] was a bit of a joke,'' said Cadogan to South London Press & Mercury.
''I remember one time when I was still in the youth team he got injured playing for the first team. He was trying to rebuild his fitness so he came to play a youth team game against Charlton.
''The things the guy was doing were an absolute joke. It showed the confidence level of going away to the first team and then stepping back down to the youth team.

''He was flicking the ball over people’s heads, rolling it through their legs. They took him off after 45 minutes because it was way too easy for him.''
Moses departed Crystal Palace to join Wigan Athletic in January 2010 and was acquired by Chelsea in the summer of 2012.
