Victor Moses N3.1B Per Season Wage Demands Stumbling Block Over Proposed Crystal Palace Move
Published: December 24, 2018The delay in Victor Moses agreeing terms with one of his suitors in the January transfer window, Crystal Palace is down to his wage demands, according to reports.
HITC making reference to The Sun says the 28-year-old’s return to Palace is now under threat due to the size of his wages.
Moses extended his contract with Chelsea in March 2017 and now pockets £130,000 a week (around £6.76 million per year or N3.1 billion in Nigerian currency).
The high wage demands of the former Nigerian international is the main problem for him joining the Premier League clubs interested in him not limited to Crystal Palace, Wolves and Fulham.
If The Eagles fail to agree financial terms with Moses, a loan move could be a possibility with Chelsea contributing a percentage of his wages.
Moses would likely sit on the bench for the rest of the campaign if he doesn't change clubs next month as he is behind Hazard, Pedro and Willian in the pecking order of wingers at Chelsea.
