Official : Derick Ogbu Inks Two-And-A-Half Year Deal With Egyptian Club Al Ittihad Alexandria
Egyptian Premier League club Al Ittihad Alexandria  have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Nigerian striker Derick Chuka Ogbu.

Following a successful medical, the 28-year-old has inked a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Ittihad Alexandria which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2021.

Ogbu was on the books of the youth team of Enugu Rangers before he moved abroad to join Umm Salal SC in 2010.

He is well known for his stint at Belgian club OH Leuven, for whom he scored 18 goals (5 assists) in 61 appearances.

The attacker joined CFR Cluj in Romania in July 2013 before moving onto Liaoning Whowin (China), and also lists Ventforet Kofu (Japan), Debrecen (Hungary) and Tskhinvali (Georgia) among his former clubs.

Derick Chuka Ogbu also holds a Belgian passport.
