'We Need A Scorer' - Bordeaux Coach Speaks On Possible Arrival Of Sunderland Hotshot
Published: January 25, 2019Bordeaux coach éric Bedouet has more or less confirmed that the Ligue 1 outfit are on the brink of announcing the signing of Sunderland striker Josh Maja.
After 20 matches in the French topflight, Bordeaux are having a hard time scoring goals, with only 23 goals netted, an average of 1.15 goals per match week, and Bedouet admitted that he's in the market for a new striker signing.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference on Thursday, Bedouet stated : ''I know a little bit about the player, We do not have time to look too much, our job is to take care of what is happening on the ground, to prepare the team.
"But we have a sufficiently professional team, specialists who take care of that. We knew him a little.
''His profile? We need a scorer, that’s what we need. Apparently, this season he is scoring goals.''
