Official : IK Sirius Sign Nigerian Striker Involved In 27 Goals In 2018
Published: January 28, 2019IK Sirius Fotboll have completed the signing of Nigerian striker John Junior Igbarumah following a successful trial, writes the Allsvenskan side on their official website.
An agreement was reached on Sunday, paving the way for the 26-year-old to ink a two-year deal with IK Sirius on Monday morning.
Commenting on the deal, Igbarumah's agent Innocent Okeke told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''John has huge potential and this a big opportunity for him to play at the highest level.
''He is point player, a player who can score goals and provide assists and showed that last season with 17 goals and ten assists for Carlstad United. He will build on that and impressed in the friendly game.''
Igbarumah is a product of Dynamo Football Academy in Nigeria which produced Kennedy Igboananike and Moses Ogbu.
IK Sirius Fotboll Director of Football, Ola Andersson visited Nigerian last year to scout for players and attended a game involving Mountain of Fire FC.
