Nigerian Striker Celebrates New Contract With Goal & Assist For Arsenal U18s
Published: February 19, 2019Arsenal have gone top of the U18 Premier League after thrashing Leicester City 5-0 at the Leicester City Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon.
Nigeria-eligible youngster Folarin Balogun, the topscoring striker in the U18 Premier League Southern section, was in action for 78 minutes before making way for winger Ryan Alebiousu.
Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and Daniel Oyegoke, who is on England U16 duty, were left out of the match day eighteen.
The Gunners secured all three points thanks to a first-half hat-trick from Tyreece John-Jules and goals from Balogun and Trae Coyle.
Balogun provided the assist for Arsenal's fourth goal a minute before half-time scored by John Jules.
Against The Foxes, Flo, as he's called by his teammates, scored in his first game since the Gunners announced he has signed a professional contract with the club.
