Nigeria Behind Sweden In Race For Highly Talented Kristianstads DFF Striker Evelina Duljan
The Nigeria Football Federation are behind the Swedish Football Association in the race for the services of Kristianstads DFF prodigy Evelina Duljan, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Capable of playing as a winger and striker and blessed with excellent dribbling skills and pace, she made her debut in the Swedish top flight against 14 and 13 days after coming on in the 91st minute in a 1-0 win vs Piteå IF on May 25 2017, and scored her first goal in the 4-0 rout of IFK Kalmar in September 2018.

The Swedish Federation have wasted no time to make Duljan provisionally commit her international future to Sweden over Nigeria and invited her to the U17 squad, for whom she made five appearances in the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualifiers, most recently against Spain on March 26.

Born May 2003, Duljan started her football career at the age of eleven, first playing for Näsby IF before she was poached by Kristianstad DFF.

Last season, she was the youngest player with the most games under her belt in the OBOS Damallsvenskan, twelve in total, scoring one goal and logging 551 minutes.

Evelina Duljan played alongside seasoned Nigeria internationals Ogonna Chukwudi and Rita Chikwelu at Kristianstad DFF in 2018.
