Hearts' Ikpeazu Relishing First Career Final After Scoring In Scottish Cup SemisUche Ikpeazu is delighted with the prospect of leading the lines for Hearts of Midlothian in the Scottish FA Cup final after scoring in their 3-0 win versus Inverness CT in the semifinals.

The former Dream Team VI invitee has never played in a final game in his senior career, having represented a plethora of clubs, the likes of Cambridge United, Blackpool, Port Vale, Doncaster Rovers, Crewe Alexandria amongst others.

Four minutes after the break at Hampden Park last weekend, Uche was on hand to open the scoring with a predatory close-range finish before winning the penalty for the killer third goal, duly dispatched by his teammate, Sean Clare.

"It's amazing, a great feeling," he said. "I'm buzzing for the lads, they've worked really hard and deserve it. This is one of the reasons I came here. It's a massive club anyway," Ikpeazu told the official website of Heart of Midlothian

"But these kind of finals don't come around very often.

"I remember watching the semi-final I didn't play in when we lost to Celtic on TV with my foot in a cast. I know how much that hurt me, but everything happens for a reason. And I wasn't letting another semi-final slip by me. No chance.

"It was special to score, its amazing scoring goal at any level for any team. But scoring in a semi-final is something you can't replicate, it's an amazing feeling."

In the final of the competition, Uche's Hearts will face Celtic, who beat Aberdeen in the other fixture, on 25th of May.
