Everton Identify Chelsea Striker Of Nigerian Descent As Potential Summer Signing
Published: April 26, 2019Everton are being linked with a summer move for Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham, according to reports emanating from the United Kingdom.
The Mirror claims Everton are considering making a move for Abraham and he could be allowed to depart Stamford Bridge in the summer despite Chelsea facing a transfer ban.
Aston Villa would attempt to sign the England U21 star on a permanent basis if they make a return to the Premier League via the playoffs but face competition from English and German clubs.
Wolverhampton Wanderers made an unsuccessful bid to sign Abraham in the January transfer window and Bundelsiga side RB Leipzig have been credited with an interest.
The 21-year-old has made 37 appearances for Aston Villa in the Championship, scoring 25 goals, and was recently named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.
He has a contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2021-2022 campaign.
