Chelsea Loanee Abraham Returns To Starting Line-up Against West Brom
Published: May 11, 2019Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has returned to the starting line-up
for Aston Villa in their English Football League Championship play-offs
match against West Brom on Saturday afternoon.
The
England U21 international of Nigerian parentage missed the last three
matches of the regular season against Millwall, Leeds United and Norwich
City because he was recovering from a shoulder injury.
Abraham
is shouldered with the responsibility of leading the line against the
Baggies and will be targeting his 26th goal of the campaign.
If
that happens, the Nigeria Football Federation target will equal his
best-ever tally in a single season he first set while on loan at Bristol
City during the 2016-2017 campaign.
Manchester City loanee Tosin Adarabioyo has been left out of the matchday squad for this fixture at Villa Park.
The central defender has appeared in 35 matches across all competitions since his arrival at West Brom in August 2018.
