La Liga Clubs Also In For Bayern Munich Target Amaechi; German Clubs Keeping Tabs On Saka
Published: May 20, 2019Unnamed Spanish La Liga clubs are interested in signing Arsenal wonderkid of Nigerian descent Xavier Amaechi.
Football.London is reporting that Bayern Munich want to sign Amaechi, who has also caught the eye of numerous sides from La Liga that covet his explosive pace and one-on-one ability.
Another Nigeria-eligible winger, Bukayo Saka has been linked with a possible exit from the Emirates Stadium, with several German clubs watching him on multiple occasions during the 2018-2019 campaign.
While Saka cannot pen a fresh contract until he turns 18 in September, Amaechi is close to entering the final year of his contract and is in talks over penning a new deal but little progress has been made.
Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a winger this summer and the two teenagers will find game time hard to come by next season if Unai Emery is successful in his chase.
Saka and Amaechi are in contention to be named in Arsenal's match day squad for the Europa League showpiece vs Chelsea, having trained with the first team last week and teams are permitted to name as many as twelve substitutes.
