Chelsea-Owned Striker Abraham Responds To Question About His Aston Villa Future
Published: May 28, 2019Nigeria-eligible striker Tammy Abraham has refused to rule out extending his stay at Aston Villa.
The England U21 international was one of the key players as Villa secured promotion to the Premier League by beating Derby County in the Championship play-off final, scoring 26 goals in 40 appearances over the course of the season.
With Chelsea slapped with a two-window transfer ban by FIFA for signing underage players, speculation is rife that the Stamford Bridge outfit will retain Abraham in their squad for the 2019-2020 campaign.
In a post-match interview after the play-off final, Abraham was quizzed on his future with Aston Villa and he replied : ''You can never say never, first of all, I have to enjoy it with the boys tonight.
''You can never say never. (I'll) see what God has in store for me.''

Abraham has played three games for Chelsea's first team since making his maiden appearance against Liverpool in the Premier League in May 2016.
