26-Goal Chelsea Striker Of Nigerian Descent Linked With Transfer To Fenerbahce
Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce are exploring ways to sign Nigeria-eligible striker Tammy Abraham in the summer transfer window.

The Yellow Canaries are believed to be in the market for a striker, with Algeria star Islam Slimani, Roberto Soldado and Andre Ayew set to leave the club when their contracts expire.

According to Fanatik, manager Ersun Yanal has recommended that Fenerbahce sign Abraham, and sporting director Damien Comilli, who has a good relationship with Chelsea, has started negotiations with the Premier League club.

Italian gaffer Maurizio Sarri is set to be named as the new Juventus manager, and a new Chelsea coach will decide whether or not Abraham will remain at Stamford Bridge for the 2019-2020 season.

Another stumbling block to a deal is that Chelsea have been handed a two-window transfer ban by FIFA, and to remedy the situation, they might want to keep Abraham.

In order to play on a continuous basis, Abraham decided to leave Chelsea days before the close of the summer transfer window in 2018 and he had a good season at Aston Villa, helping them gain promotion to the Premier League, scoring 26 goals in 40 games.
