The Eight Clubs Interested In Signing Former Arsenal Striker Aneke
Published: June 18, 2019At least eight clubs are monitoring the situation of Nigerian striker Chuks Aneke with a view to a transfer this summer.
Aneke's deal with newly promoted League One club Milton Keynes Dons runs out at the end of this month and could leave as a free agent if he does not sign the new deal he has been offered.
According to Team Talk, Sheffield Wednesday, Hull City, Queens Park Rangers, Barnsley, Wigan Athletic and Portsmouth are interested in landing the signature of the 25-year-old.
But Aneke's English suitors face competition from Scottish teams Hearts and Hibs, writes the Edinburgh Evening News.
A former England youth international, the one-time Nigerian Federation target spent thirteen years at Arsenal before a permanent move to Zulte Waregem in 2014.
Aneke smashed 17 goals in 38 games last season to shoot MK Dons to the third tier.
