New Southampton Signing Sends Parting Message To Anderlecht
Published: July 21, 2019Nigerian striker Kazeem Olaigbe has sent a parting message to everyone associated with Anderlecht following his move to Premier League side Southampton.
The highly-rated teenager has penned a two-year scholarship with The Saints and will play for their U18 squad in the upcoming season.
Olaigbe is the fourth young player to depart Anderlecht this summer after Nathan Ngoy, Gregory Descotte and Johan Bakayoko.
''I would like to thank RSCA Anderlecht and my former coaches and teammates for giving me an incredible experience at the club,'' Olaigbe posted on Instagram.
''A new chapter has been turned and I have made a choice to further my career at @southamptonfc to have a successful and enjoyable sporting experience.
''I'm confident I will be able to grow and learn what I will need in order to reach my goals. So to all my supporters I thank you and I'm very grateful.''
