Bournemouth Interested In Signing Billing And What It Means For Nigeria U20 Star
Denmark U21 star of Nigerian descent, Philip Billing has made it clear that he wants to depart Huddersfield Town before the close of the summer transfer window following their demotion to the Championship at the end of last season.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Billing is a target for Bournemouth but the main stumbling block to a deal is that the Terriers have placed a £17 million price tag on the highly-rated central midfielder.

The 23-year-old has not been allocated a squad number for the upcoming season which suggests that his time at Huddersfield Town is up.

Ahead of a possible departure from the club, he has been made to train with the kids in the academy.

Billing has openly criticized Huddersfield manager Jan Siewert which ultimately saw him banished to the development team.

If his move to Bournemouth goes through, Nigeria U20 international Nnamdi Ofoborh would be nervous as he would fall even further down the pecking order of midfielders at the Cherries.

Ofoborh has been handed another chance to impress first team boss Eddie Howe in pre-season as he was named in the traveling group to Spain for a training camp and featured in the friendlies against AFC Wimbledon and Girona.

The Flying Eagles star was a non-playing substitute in five competitive matches played by the first team last season.
