30 Games Without A Goal : Iheanacho Ends 1061-Minute Goal Drought In Leicester City Win Vs Cambridge United
Kelechi Iheanacho ended his goal drought for Leicester City in their comprehensive 3-0 win against Cambridge United in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, July 23.

The Nigeria international had not scored a goal for the Foxes since September 22, 2018 before his introduction on the hour mark in yesterday's clash at the Abbey Stadium.

Iheanacho brought his drought to an end in the 83rd minute when he nodded home Harvey Barnes in-swinger to double Leicester City's advantage.

The 22-year-old played 30 games in total, comprising 24 in the Premier League, 3 in the League Cup, 1 in the FA Cup and 2 in pre-season before scoring his first goal in ten months.

The Taye Academy product was on the pitch for 1,061 minutes without scoring a goal.

Iheanacho's lack of goals at Leicester City was the reason behind Gernot Rohr's decision to omit the striker from his roster for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
