Newcastle United, Middlesbrough, Derby Interested In Signing Bournemouth's Ibe
Published: August 07, 2019Jordon Ibe could leave Bournemouth before the close of the transfer window for Premier League and Championship clubs on Thursday.
According to The Sun, Newcastle United are interested in signing the former England U21 international but face competition from Championship teams Middlesbrough and Derby County.
With Harry Wilson arriving on loan from Liverpool yesterday, Ibe would be competing with the Wales international for a first team shirt if he remains at The Cherries.
The 23-year-old joined Bournemouth for a club record fee of £15 million in July 2016 and has appeared in 88 official matches, scoring five goals.
He enjoyed a successful loan spell at Derby County during the 2014-15 season, making 24 appearances and netting 5 goals as a teenager.
Ibe's contract with Bournemouth runs out in the summer of 2020.
