(Photo) Udinese's Troost-Ekong Arrives In Abuja & Heads Out For Late Dinner
Published: November 11, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Udinese central defender William Troost-Ekong is due to arrive at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Tuesday, all things being equal.
The Super Eagles assistant captain flew into the country's capital, Abuja from Italy, on Monday and immediately checked into the Bolton White Hotels & Apartments located in Area11, Garki 2.
Soon after Ekong's arrival at the hotel, he headed out for a late dinner at 2007 hours.
Only yesterday, the former Netherlands U20 international made his 45th appearance in the Italian Serie A, going the distance as Udinese and SPAL played out a goalless draw.
One of Rohr's most favorite players, Ekong is expected to partner either Kenneth Omeruo or Semi Ajayi in the heart of defence against the Squirrels of Benin.
Meanwhile, the fourteen Super Eagles players in Uyo did not train at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium this evening, as previously suggested by this website.
The players held a recovery session at the Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort on Monday evening and will train at the match venue tomorrow.
Three-time African champions Nigeria face Benin on Wednesday, November 13 before taking on Lesotho on November 17.
