The Two Reasons Torino Are Not Planning To Sell Chelsea Product Ola Aina For Now
Published: March 27, 2020Italian Serie A club Torino are not planning to part company with Chelsea Academy product Ola Aina in the next transfer window, according to reports.
Turin based sports daily Tuttosport writes on its print edition that Torino will find it difficult to sell two players Ola Aina and Soualiho Meïté because they are young and with margin for improvement both on the field and in terms of their future market value.
The 23-year-old Aina earned a permanent transfer to Torino last summer after impressing while on loan during the 2018-2019 season.
Torino have struggled for form this season and lost their last six games before the league was interrupted due to coronavirus pandemic.
On the international scene, Aina has been one of the most impressive players for the Super Eagles in their recent matches but has blown hot and cold for Torino since the start of this season.
Over the course of this season, he has appeared in 25 competitive games and has two assists to his name.
