Published: October 27, 2020Dutch-born Nigerian winger Joel Ideho is inching closer to making his debut for the Arsenal teams.
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Ideho has finally arrived in London to join the Gunners following his transfer from Ajax Amsterdam before the close of the summer transfer window.
The 2003-born player took part in his first training session as an Arsenal player on Monday, October 26.
Arsenal chiefs have high hopes for Ideho and offered him a three-year professional deal, the maximum length of contract handed out to U17 players.
The promising youngster has drawn comparison to Crystal Palace wing wizard Wilfried Zaha due to his playing style.
Ideho has been registered by Arsenal for the English Premier League via the U21 list and scholars, and is also eligible to represent the north London club in the FA Cup, EFL Trophy, League Cup, Premier League 2 and U18 Premier League.
He opted to join Arsenal over his other suitors because they are known for developing young players.
