U20 AFCON Qualifier : Four Things We Noticed From Nigeria's 1-0 Loss To Ghana

Nigeria's U20 national team, the Flying Eagles on Wednesday were defeated 1-0 by Ghana's Black Satellites in their second match of the regional WAFU U20 tournament which serves as qualifiers to the CAF U20 Nations Cup in 2021.
The Flying Eagles had two first half goals chalked off for offside which could have handed the team a possible win. They created some good chances early in the match.
Ladan Bosso's boys were also unlucky in the first game against CIV as they conceded a 90th minute goal to end the tie 1-1.

3. Game Management
Ghana resorted to time wasting means to wind down the clock. This further put the Nigerians under pressure as they conceded a slew of free kicks that ultimately lead to the goal scored by Precious Boah.
4. The Eagles Need Good Officiating In Ghana Vs CIV
The Flying Eagles will now be praying fervently for a good officiating in the match between Ghana and Cote d' Ivoire.
Calls from the officials have not been in absolute favour of the Nigerians and that has to be different in the decider involving their west African rivals.
