Randers Confirm Former Manchester United Midfielder Has Tested Positive For COVID-19
Published: December 15, 2020Danish Superliga side Randers have confirmed via their official website that former Manchester United midfielder Tosin Kehinde has tested positive for coronavirus.
Thus, the onetime Nigeria U23 invitee is unlikely to be fielded when Randers face Eddy Onazi's SønderjyskE on Sunday afternoon.
Before Tuesday's test results, no Randers player previously tested positive but Tosin Kehinde and winger Nikola Mileusnic are now infected and undergoing mandatory isolation.
The two players were left out of the Randers squad for this evening's Danish Cup match vs Holstebro and the same applies to Issah Salou who was in close contract with Kehinde.
Kehinde extended his contract with Randers in the close season after impressing whist on loan during the 2019-2020 campaign.
In the current season, the 22-year-old has appeared in ten first team matches, wearing the number 10 at the back of his jersey.
