Moses Among Seven Chelsea Players Tipped For Exit Door To Fund Move For Two Stars
Published: December 24, 2020Former Nigeria international Victor Moses is among the Chelsea players tipped for the exit door in the summer.
Sky Sports journalist Angelo Mangiante has reported that The Blues are prepared to offload seven players, the others being Antonio Rudiger, Ross Barkley, Jorginho, Danny Drinkwater, Marcos Alonso and Andreas Christensen.
Chelsea's potential sale of the first team stars will free up funds for the pursuit of their academy product now at West Ham, Declan Rice and Borussia Dortmund golden boy Erling Haaland.
Moses is not in the plans of manager Frank Lampard and is spending the whole of this season on loan at Spartak Moscow, his sixth loan spell since transferring to Chelsea in August 2012 after spells at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan.
Spartak
Moscow paid a loan fee of 300,000 euros to Chelsea with the option to
buy the Nigerian permanently set at five million euros.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner was a key member of the Chelsea squad that won the Premier League in 2017 and the FA Cup the following year.
