Confirmed : Liverpool Hero Fowler Brings In Nigeria U23 Striker Enobakhare To East Bengal
Published: January 02, 2021Through official channels, Indian Super League side East Bengal have finally confirmed the capture of Nigeria U23 international Bright Enobakhare.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy product has joined East Bengal as a free agent following his release by AEK Athens just before the close of the summer transfer window.
Aged 22, Enobakhare trained for the first time with his new teammates at East Bengal on New Year's Day, after the end of his quarantine period.
East Bengal are coached by one of the most famous names in the history of Liverpool, Robbie Fowler.
Speaking on the signing of Enobakhare, Fowler said : "I am absolutely delighted with the signing of Bright.
"I have had a good few chats with him, given him our vision and our beliefs…what we want to achieve here. He has accepted them with an open mind.

"If you look at the foreign players who have come in, the likes of Matti Steinmann are fairly young for foreign players in this league".
For the remainder of the 2020-2021 season, Enobakare, who was a member of the Dream Team VII squad to the 2019 U23 AFCON, will wear the number 10 jersey.
