Ndidi Reaches 150-Game Milestone Exactly Three Years After Leicester City Confirmed His Signing
Published: January 03, 2021Wilfred Ndidi has reached a 150-game milestone for English Premier League club Leicester City, exactly three years after he joined the Foxes from Racing Genk, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The holding midfielder has been picked in the starting lineup by manager Brendan Rodgers for this afternoon's match against Newcastle United at St. James' Park.
Ndidi donned the Leicester City number 25 shirt for the 149th time in his career when he was named in the starting lineup in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Boxing Day.
The Nath Boys product joins an illustrious list of players who have played 150 games or more for Leicester City, including Kasper Schmeichel, Jamie Vardy, Wes Morgan, Marc Albrighton, Demarai Gray and Christian Fuchs.
Of his 150 appearances for the King Power Stadium outfit, 128 were in the Premier League, eight each in the FA Cup and League Cup, 4 in the Champions League and 2 in the Europa League group stage.
Ndidi tallied eight goals and assisted seven others prior to today's meeting with the Magpies.
