'I Can Pass The Ball Very Well' - Kelechi Nwakali Introduces Himself To AD Alcorcon Fans
Published: February 04, 2021Former Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali was unveiled by AD Alcorcón on Thursday following his transfer to the Spanish Segunda Division club a day before the window closed for business.
The Nigeria U23 international has been loaned out by SD Huesca for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season.
Nwakali found game time difficult to come by at the La Liga club, making only one start in the division and subbed in in four games, totaling 138 minutes in the current season.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner highlighted his key attributes during his unveiling and believes he can help AD Alcorcón improve their position in the table.
"I am a box-to-box midfielder who can support the attack and then whenever we lose the ball I am always in a good position to defend for the team," Nwakali stated.
"I know I'm a player who loves to keep the ball, and I can pass the ball very well, also good in attacking but I believe we need to improve in defending as a team.
"With my qualities I believe joining the team we can achieve something great."
