Ex-Arsenal Star Reveals The Key Qualities That Make Balogun A Good Striker
Published: February 08, 2021Former Arsenal midfielder turned scout Steve Morrow has revealed some of the qualities that make Folarin Balogun a good striker.
The England U20 international of Nigerian descent has entered the final five months of his contract with the Gunners and could be departing the north London club on a free transfer in the summer.
Morrow, who worked at Arsenal for eleven years and saw first-hand the qualities that Balogun possesses, praised the Anglo-Nigerian for his physicality, hold-up play and finishing.
Speaking to The Times, he said : "I hope he can make the right decision and then figure out what’s best for him at this stage of his career.
"He’s got great physical qualities, can lead the line very well, holds the ball up very well, brings other players into play and is probably as good a finisher as Eddie.
