The Nigeria international opened the scoring with a right-footed shot from just outside the penalty area in the first minute of first half stoppage time.
According to the statisticians at OPTA, Ejuke set his new records in the Russian Premier League for dribbles attempted (19), dribbles completed (8), total duels (26) and duels won (12) in the match against Rotor.
Speaking on his goal, Ejuke told CSKA Moscow's official YouTube channel : "I got a pass from Sigurdsson, at that point in time what I had in my head was to just shoot the ball because we have been playing, creating chances and we haven't scored.
"At that point I was thinking about the goal and luckily for me I shot the ball and it went in.
"At the end of the day it was good that we had the goal, it was good for the team and for me as well because I needed to score."

This season, Ejuke has directly participated in five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in 27 appearances across all competitions for the Muscovites.
