Three players of Nigerian descent on target for Bournemouth in big win vs Millwall
Three players of Nigerian descent were on target for Bournemouth as they registered a 4-1 win over Millwall in a Championship clash staged at The Den on Wednesday evening.

Former Denmark U21 international Philip Billing, 2017 U20 World Cup winner Dominic Solanke and Netherlands international who has flirted with Nigeria in recent days Arnaut Danjuma were named in the starting lineup by manager Jonathan Woodgate and all got on the scoresheet.

Billing opened the scoring at minute 16 after he was fed by Solanke, before Danjuma doubled the advantage in the 27th minute.

The impressive Solanke bagged his second assist of the game in the 44th minute as the Cherries went into the break 3-0 up.

Midway through the second half, the Bournemouth number 9 capped off a fine performance with a goal, slotting past goalkeeper Bialkowski after playing a one-two with Billing.

The three players have scored 38 goals combined this season, more than half of the goals registered by Bournemouth in the Championship.

With the win, the Vitality Stadium outfit are third in the table with 77 points, making the most of Swansea City's slip at home to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.
