Published: April 22, 2021American-Anglo-Nigerian frontman Folarin Balogun is in line to be included in Arsenal's matchday squad for Friday's Premier League meeting with Everton at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The Gunners have uploaded a video of their final workout held at London Colney on Thursday, with the Hale End Academy product spotted training with the first-teamers.
Manager Mikel Arteta will not be able to count on the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (illness) and Alex Lacazette (hamstring), brightening the chances of Balogun making the matchday 20.
This season, the England U20 international has always featured off the bench when named in the matchday squad, six games in total, but is still waiting for his first squad involvement in the Premier League.
Balogun has been rubbing shoulders with the Arsenal first team stars in recent weeks, more frequently than before, after he made a U-turn and agreed to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi trained with the Everton squad in their penultimate workout before the trip to the English capital.
Thanks to their superior goal difference, the Gunners can move ahead of Everton in the table with a win tomorrow.
