'14 goals in 14 games' - Ex-Manchester United attacker underlines Iheanacho is in red hot form
Former Manchester United attacker Garth Crooks has highlighted that Kelechi Iheanacho has been in excellent form for Leicester City in the business end of the season.

With his stunning goal against Crystal Palace on Monday night, the Nigeria international, who provided the assist for the Foxes opening goal, took his tally to an outstanding 14 goals in 14 matches across all competitions.

To Leicester City's advantage, the 2013 U17 World Cup winner is in the best form of his professional career as they push for Champions League qualification and aim to win the Emirates FA Cup next month.

In a 4-2-3-1 formation, Iheanacho has been named in Crooks' Team of the Week following the conclusion of the latest round of matches in the Premier League.

On Iheanacho, BBC pundit Crooks said : "What a goal. He had already set up Timothy Castagne's equaliser before firing in an unstoppable shot past a stranded Vicente Guaita in the Crystal Palace net.

"Kelechi Iheanacho is in red hot form. Fourteen goals in 14 games for the Nigerian Super Eagle says it all really.... "

With his strike against Palace, Iheanacho has netted 17 goals this term - a career-best for the Taye Academy product.
