Hamburg, Darmstadt, Hannover vying for the services of Krasnodar's Russian-Nigerian striker
Published: May 29, 2021Three German 2. Bundesliga clubs are competing for the services of Krasnodar's Russian-Nigerian center forward German Onugkha, according to Sportbuzzer.
Hannover are in the market for an attacker and have identified Onugkha as one of their targets.
The 24-year-old is also interesting Hamburg and on the shopping list of Darmstadt in the summer transfer window.
He spent the second half of the 2020-2021 campaign on loan at Vejle, scoring four goals in seventeen matches in the Danish top-flight.
Onugkha made his Russian Premier League debut for Krasnodar when he replaced Marcus Berg against Zenit Saint Petersburg in July 2020.
He would be affordable for the three second-tier clubs as he is currently valued at 700,000 euros by transfer market experts.
Onugkha turned out for FC Torpedo Tamala, FC Narovchat, FC Atmis
Kevdo-Melsitovo, FC Zenit-M Penza and FC Volgar Astrakhan prior to his
move to Krasnodar in 2018.
