Inter Milan linked with move for Super Eagles star as replacement for ex-Man Utd, Arsenal striker
Published: October 14, 2021Paul Onuachu's future seems to be away from Racing Genk despite recently extending his contract with the Limburg club.
According to Calcio Mercato via Football Italia, Inter Milan are the latest club linked with a possible move for the 2.01 meters tall center forward who made a splash in Belgium in 2020-2021 with 35 goals in all competitions.
The Nerazzurri are already preparing for life without former Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez who is expected to bid farewell to the Milan club in January.
Inter Milan have reportedly turned their attention to Onuachu as a replacement for the Chile international.
The Super Eagle has been linked with Atletico Madrid in recent days but the La Liga champions have not yet firmed up their interest in the FC Ebedei-reared center forward by making an official bid to Racing Genk.
Onuachu wants to play in the English Premier League and was offered to the likes of West Ham and Brighton & Hove in the summer transfer window but a deal did not materialize.
The 27-year-old has a valid contract with Racing Genk until June 30, 2024.
