AFCON 2021 : Benfica-owned fullback finally reports for international duty in Cameroon
The number of players in the Super Eagles camp has increased by one following the arrival of Benfica-owned fullback Tyronne Ebuehi, allnigeriasoccer.com.

Interim Nigeria boss Augustine Eguavoen will run the rule over Ebuehi and the twenty five other players in camp in Saturday's workout in Garoua.

A late addition to the roster as a result of the injury suffered by Omonia Nicosia defender Abdullahi Shehu, Ebuehi was delayed from joining the team due to club commitments.

However, the Serie A clash between Salernitana and Venezia scheduled to take place on Thursday evening was postponed because of a Covid-19 outbreak at the Granata.

Jamilu Collins is now rated as doubtful to be included in the matchday 23 in Nigeria's opening match of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations against Egypt with Super Eagles media officer Babafemi Raji revealing that the SC Paderborn left-back is expected to join the team by Sunday or latest Monday night.

The Super Eagles stepped up their preparations for the AFCON with a 2-0 victory over 15-time Cameroonian champions Coton Sport FC de Garoua in a practice match on Friday and will play an in-house match Nigeria vs Nigeria before their clash with Egypt.
