Djamel Belmadi, Algeria's national team coach, has announced his roster for the upcoming international friendlies against African opposition Guinea and Nigeria.

Three defenders, eight defenders, six midfielders and seven strikers have been named in a 24-man squad ahead of the start of a training camp next week.

The roster is headlined by former Arsenal midfielder Ismaël Bennacer, who was awarded Best Player of AFCON 2019, and Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

In a repeat of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations semifinal, the Fennec Foxes will take on the Super Eagles at Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran on September 27, starting from 2000 hours.

Mahrez scored a stunning free kick in added time to send the North Africans to the final of AFCON 2019.
