Published: September 29, 2022
Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis is in contention to make Nottingham Forest's squad for the Premier League matchday nine encounter with Leicester City on Monday.
In the previous week, Forest disclosed that Dennis pulled out of the Super Eagles squad ahead of their international friendly encounter against the Fennec Foxes of Algeria due to injury.
Through a statement on their official website, the club said:
"Taiwo Awoniyi has both been called up to the Nigeria squad for their friendly against Algeria on Tuesday 27th September, 8pm kick-off UK time.
"Emmanuel Dennis, meanwhile, has withdrawn due to injury.”
In the latest training images published by the official website of Nottingham Forest on September 29, the 24-year-old was pictured training with the Steve Cooper led side ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Dennis will be hoping to make his fifth Premier League appearance of the season when the Foxes host the Reds at the King Power Stadium on the 3rd of October, 2022.
The Kwara Football Academy product joined Nottingham Forest from Watford in August 2022.
He has since made five appearances in all competitions, and is yet to find the back of the net in a Nottingham Forest shirt.
