The market values of players in the French Ligue 1 has been updated by football statistics and transfer market website Transfermarkt.
After a brilliant start to the 2022-2023 season, two Nigerian strikers in the shape of Folarin Balogun and Terem Moffi have reached their highest ever market values.
The Arsenal loanee, wearing the colours of Stade de Reims this season, has mustered seven goals in thirteen appearances in the French top-flight, while the Lorient star has tallied eight goals from twelve matches.
To calculate the market value of players, Transfermarkt factors in the length of contract remaining with the club, age and performances for club and country in different competitions.
Balogun is now rated at €14 million following yesterday's update and Moffi at fifteen million euros, and the two players are the most valuable players in their respective clubs.
The Hale End Acadmey product is the 63rd most valuable player in Ligue 1 and Moffi ranks number 56.
Rennes midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu has also reached a career-high market value of four million euros, while Nantes winger Moses Simon and Lorient's combative midfielder Innocent Bonke are valued at nine million euros and two million euros respectively.
