Ex-Man City star Onuoha tips Crystal Palace dazzler to leave in the summer
Published: January 15, 2023Former Manchester Cty star Nedum Onuoha reckons that Crystal Palace dazzler Wilfried Zaha will be moving on to pastures new in the summer.
The Eagles academy graduate has entered the last six months of his contract at Selhurst Park and reportedly been offered a new deal but nothing has been signed yet.
Top Premier League and foreign clubs are monitoring the situation of the Ivory Coast international with a view to signing him on a free transfer at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
Zaha failed to make the grade at Manchester United and returned for a second spell at Crystal Palace in August 2014.
Onuoha underlined that Zaha has been a good servant to Crystal Palace but he's ready for a new challenge.
"I think Wilfried Zaha is probably going to leave Crystal Palace. I'm happy to be proven wrong because he has done so well for them," Onuoha said on BBC 5 Live.
"If that does happen and he goes away on a free, you can't say he has not had good service for Crystal Palace. I'm sure he will be ready".
The 30-year-old Zaha is set to make his 448th appearance in a Palace shirt having made the starting lineup for the Premier League meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
