Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of Nigerian players who were on target for their respective clubs in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, January 28.
Kelechi Iheanacho continued his love story with the FA Cup as he scored the only goal in Leicester City's 1-0 win over Walsall - the second consecutive game in the competition the Super Eagles striker netted the winner.
Midway through the second half at the Poundland Bescot Stadium in the West Midlands, the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner cut onto his left foot and found the net via a deflected effort.
According to the statisticians at OPTA, Iheanacho has scored seventeen goals in the FA Cup since his debut in the competition, more than any other player.
Elsewhere, Leslie Adekoya bagged a consolation for Accrington Stanley in their 3-1 loss to Premier League opponents Leeds United at Wham Stadium.
Thirty eight seconds after coming off the bench, he slotted home from close range to make it 3-1 with nine minutes left on the clock.
OPTA has highlighted that Adekoya is the youngest player to score a goal in this season's FA Cup, aged 18 years and 285 days.
Luton Town will need a replay to settle their FA Cup tie with Grimsby Town after a 2-2 draw at Kenilworth Road.
In-form striker Elijah Adebayo scored for the fourth consecutive game in all competitions when he converted a penalty in the 49th minute.
Fleetwood Town also need a replay after being held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Promise Omochere headed home from close range to break the deadlock in the 53rd minute and in doing so he followed in the footsteps of Iheanacho and Adebayo, who both scored in back-to-back FA Cup matches this season.
