Southampton were beaten 2-1 by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday evening.
Southampton put out a terse statement on their official website on Sunday morning to announce the decision to relieve Jones of his job.
"Southampton Football Club can confirm it has parted company with Men’s First Team Manager Nathan Jones.
"First Team Coaches Chris Cohen and Alan Sheehan have also left the club.
"First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés will take charge of training and prepare the team ahead of next weekend’s game against Chelsea."
Southampton have only won one of their last 11 Premier League games, with Saturday's defeat making it their ninth loss in those matches.
Deadline day signing Onuachu made his full Premier League debut in Saturday's defeat but was substituted in the 74th minute by Che Adam's while Aribo came off the bench in place of Carlos Alvarez five minutes later.
Youngster Sam Edozie, who has Nigerian heritage, replaced James Bree in the last 10 minutes of the game.
