All Nigeria Soccer presents the player ratings form Saturday's match.

The Starters

Goalkeeper

Chijioke Aniagboso  : The goalkeeper earned the right to start against Madagascar at the expense of his first choice teammate, Nathaniel Nwosu.  As always, Aniagboso performed very well but not as the previous match against the Egyptians. 7/10.

Defenders

Augustine Njoku  : The right back was solid in defence but is noticeably not as advanced when the team is attacking like his opposite full back.  Njoku was however was in the opposition box towards the end of the match as the team chased a third goal with a counter attacking move. 6/10.

Solomon Agbalaka : The left back is proving to be a key cog in the Flying Eagles side.  The 19-year-old defender assisted Ibrahim Muhammad for the team's second goal after intercepting the ball at the half way line. 8.5/10.

Daniel Bameyi  : The centre back is Nigeria's captain at the tournament and he produced a good game albeit he was lucky not to have been red-carded after initially receiving a yellow towards the end of the game. 6/10.
.

Benjamin Frederick  : The defender was once again impressive in the heart of the defence. Towards the end of the match, had to receive medical attention for a clash of heads with a Mozambique player. 6/10.

Midfielders and strikers

Onuche Ogbelu : Good performance.  Shielded the back line commendably. His importance to the cause of the side is massive. 7/10.

Samson Lawal : Operating from the right side of a three-man midfield, Lawal scored a scorcher of a goal in the first halF. 8/10.

Muhammad Aminu  : The Flying Eagles number 10 created lots of scoring chances for the team. His game somewhat slowed down after receiving a treatment from the medics. 7/10.

Rilwanu Sarki  : The least uneventful of the front three, Sarki was full of energy but was not one for those really guilty of wasting gilt- edged chances. 5/10.

Ibrahim Muhammad  : He announced his arrival as one of the most promising young talents in Africa with a Goal of the Tournament contender. What a strike from the exciting winger to make it 2-0. The goal from distance was of the highest quality. Muhammad was full of boundless energy all through the game. 8/10.

Ayuba Abubakar  : Ayuba missed several goal scoring chances in the first half. He has the heights that caused Mozambique lots of troubles. 5/10.

The Substitutes

Emmanuel Uchegbu  : Uchegbu was a second half substitute who was later substituted himself. He was attended to by the medical team on the bench. 5/10.

Adams Alade : Was full of running in the opposition half and had a couple of decent chances to score. 6/10.

Jude Sunday  : Was brought on to shore up the team's midfield. He did his work commendably. Also ran the right channel admirably. 6.5/10.

Ahmed Abdullahi  : Back in the team after the red card against Senegal.  Abdullahi had a more better outing against Mozambique. He was able to hold on to the ball and create something out of nothing for himself.  He also got on the end of a cross from a teammate bit was whiskers away from scoring. 6/10.

Abel Ogwuche  : The defender was brought on for Emmanuel Uchegbu but had little time to affect the game. 4/10.
