Super Eagles camp update : Peseiro still waiting to welcome Osimhen, Chukwueze, two others

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, only four of the invited players summoned for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header have not reported for international duty.
Terem Moffi, Victor Sochima, Calvin Bassey and Bruno Onyemaechi have landed in Abuja, bringing the total number of players in camp to nineteen.
Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro is still waiting to welcome Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi, and Leicester City frontman Kelechi Iheanacho.
Osimhen, Sanusi and Chukwueze were in action for their respective clubs on Sunday, while Iheanacho featured off the bench for the Foxes in a 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday, March 18.
The Super Eagles got down to business on Monday evening, with a training session at the National Stadium in Abuja under the supervision of manager Jose Peseiro and his backroom staff.
Thirteen of the invited players were involved in the first workout, while Wilfred Ndidi didn't train fully in the first session on the advice of Leicester City's medical team.
Nigeria are hoping to make it three victories out of three in 2023 AFCON qualifying when they take om Guinea-Bissau at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Friday, March 24.
