Report reveals the price tag for Super Eagles striker amid Chelsea, Man Utd links
Published: March 27, 2023
Victor Osimhen has been linked with a possible summer move to Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as Paris Saint-Germain in France.
With the three clubs jostling for the signing of the Super Eagles forward, Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Napolista has revealed the transfer price it will take to prize Osimhen from Napoli.
Osimhen is the top scorer in Serie A with 21 goals and is on the verge of helping Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is known for his tough stance on players wanting to leave Napoli and Osimhen's case will not be different.
A recent proof is a statement credited to him where he stated that he is expecting some ridiculous offers for his most prized asset.
Per the report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, it would take at least 150 million euros or more to get the signature of the Nigeria international.
Osimhen was valued at around 100 million euros last summer but the price is expected to go up by 50-60 million as he is on the verge of winning the Serie A and top scorer award and could win the Champions League too.
With PSG, Manchester United and Chelsea being linked with a move for Osimhen, there may be a bidding war unless Osimhen chooses his next destination himself.
