10 out of 10 : Crystal Palace dazzler Olise named Whoscored's PL POTW

As expected, Crystal Palace young sensation Michael Olise has been named Whoscored's English Premier League Player of the Week for matchday 30.

The France U21 international of Nigerian descent received a perfect rating of 10 out of 10 from the celebrated football statistics website.

Olise created three assists for his teammates as Crystal Palace came from behind to secure a comprehensive 5-1 win over Leeds United at Elland Road on Easter Sunday.

The 2021 Super Eagles invitee set up the goals scored by Jordan Ayew, Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard.

Aged 21 years and 118 days on April 9, Olise became the youngest player in Premier League history to assist three goals from open play in a single game after his hat-trick of assists against Leeds United.

Olise was named Premier League Player of the Week ahead of Palace teammates Jordan Ayew (9.57), Eberechi Eze (9.18) and Jeffrey Schlupp (8.84), while Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay (8.77) was the fifth best rated player.

The Nigeria-eligible winger registered a game-high six key passes, won three aerial duels and two fouls, and completed five dribbles while making two interceptions and two tackles.

Olise is the third player to register a hat-trick of assists in a Premier League match this season, after Liverpool's Roberto Firmino and Arsenal's Leandro Trossard.
