Tottenham Hotspur slayer Solanke matches Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden PL feat
Published: April 16, 2023
Dominic Solanke was unarguably the standout performer as Bournemouth made history by winning for the first time at Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup Golden Ball winner of Nigerian descent was involved in the three goals netted by the Cherries, providing assists for his teammates Matías Viña and Dango Ouattara, and also got in on the act in the second half.
Solanke has scored five goals and delivered six assists in twenty six outings in the Premier League this season.
According to the statisticians at OPTA, the Anglo-Nigerian has scored and assisted in a Premier League game on three occasions this season, the joint most of any player along with Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden.
Solanke scored and assisted as Bournemouth defeated Nottingham Forest on matchday six, he repeated the feat against Fulham on October 15, before his heroics against Tottenham Hotspur.
While Solanke scored and assisted in three away matches, Foden and De Bruyne scored and assisted in two home matches and one away game each.
The Chelsea-reared center forward has started 25 of the 26 Premier League matches he has been available for selection this season.
