Paris Saint-Germain ready to outbid Chelsea to bring Super Eagles star back to France
Published: April 21, 2023Paris Saint-Germain want to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season as they seek to win the UEFA Champions League, which has eluded them.
Despite boasting Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the French club have failed to replicate their domestic dominance on the continent.
Adding Osimhen to the ranks could be the final piece of the jigsaw needed to win the Champions League.
Chelsea have struggled for goals all season and are also interested in securing the services of the Super Eagles forward from Napoli.
According to Football Insider, the French Ligue 1 table-toppers are prepared to bid an astronomical sum of €150million to bring Osimhen back to France next summer as they look to steal a march on Chelsea in the pursuit of the Napoli number 9.
Osimhen has some Ligue 1 experience, having spent one season at Lille before transferring to Napoli in 2020.
Apart from PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich hold an interest in the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner.
Osimhen has notched twenty six goals and five assists in all competitions for Napoli this season and is on the verge of winning the top scorer award this season in Serie A.
